It’s me, Padre.

You know, the handsome ManCat Furry Bambino.

On Fursday, I was shoved into my PTU and taken to the V-E-T.

Daddy tried to comfort me.

Then Daddy and Mommy left me at the V-E-T and went home wiffout me! Meerkat was looking for me out the front window.

Dr. Amy, the V-E-T, stoled 8 of my toofies. EIGHT. All at once. Mommy and Daddy told her it was OK.  Here’s the report on my toofies. My toofies were in pretty bad shape.

Dr. Amy said that I did really well, and I have to fank her for doing such a good job. And for giving me such good medicashuns to make the pain in my mouf go away.

I got to go home the same day.

As soon as I got home, Mommy and Daddy gave me some yummy albacore tuna!

Dr. Amy said to keep me in a separate room at first, so Mommy and Daddy set up my bachelor pad in the foster kitten room. The point was to keep the other Furry Bambinos from giving me a hard time because I smelled like the V-E-T office. The tail going into the PTU is not mine. So does that give you an idea of how well keeping us separate worked?

After about 20 minutes, I decided that I did not want to be confined to the foster kitten room against my will any longer. So I knocked over the baby gate and went downstairs.

There were NO CRUNCHIES in my bachelor pad!

Dr. Amy said that I have to eat soft food for 10 days after surgery. That is like, forever! So I went looking for crunchies downstairs. THE DOWNSTAIRS CRUNCHIES BOWLS ARE MISSING!!!

Kittehs, it’s going to be a long 10 days.

This is what my mouf looked like before surgery. One of my toofies that Dr. Amy stole is my left top fang pictured below. It was brokefied.

Below, I will show you my toofies that Dr. Amy gave Mommy and Daddy. She said that I could give my toofies to the Toof Fairy.

Today, we become Young Lady Cats, as we are now One Year Old! Today, I officially graduate from “Diva-in-Training” to “Diva”! I am so happy! Cookie is delighted to be a Young Lady Cat as well!

Panda Bear Here: Mom made me let her say that. What a wuss!

OK, so if some kitty eats food, and the food goes to their tummy, it’s still food, right?

Well, then, if some kitty’s tummy decides to hork up that food, it’s still food, right?

So what’s wrong if some other kitty (like me) decides to sample that pile of hork? It’s still food, right? I dare say it is the epitome of Stinky Goodness.

For some reason, Mom and Dad try to deter me from sampling hork piles. They just don’t understand good cuisine.

Take for instance, all the different varieties of stinky goodness that they brought home to see what we prefer.

Mostly, I just like to lick the juice off the top and then push the remaining dried up pieces to the sides of the dish, in order to make it look like I ate a lot. I don’t want them to stop buying the stuff, after all, because I really like the juice on top. I’ve got Dad fooled most of the time, but I think that Mom is catching on. She has been hovering over me while I eat, like the (half-) Italian mother that she is.

And then there’s the crunchies. Mom and Dad originally tried to give the hoodlums kittens Iams Kitten Crunchies, and Iams Adult Crunchies to me. However, the hoodlums kittens preferred to eat my crunchies over theirs. So Mom has stopped bothering to even put out the kitten crunchies lately.

Last weekend, Mom and Dad brought home some really tremendous crunchies: Fancy Feast Gourmet Gold^TM With Savory Chicken and Turkey. These are my preference by far.

Observe the delicate shapes: moons, hearts, diamonds, and clovers. Mom says that they are like Lucky Charms for cats.

Dad said “of course, they’re the most expensive, right?”

Duh! Of course!

The Iams Adult Original with Ocean Fish and Rice Crunchies are pretty good, too, so I eat them just for some variety. They aren’t as pretty as Fancy Feast, however, and only come in one shape, triangles, (unless they break).

Meerkat also seems to share my preferences for crunchies. Neither she nor I will touch the Dad’s Original Tasty Chicken Flavor crunchies. Must be a tabby thing. The Dad’s crunchies are this weird reddish color, and also come in only one shape, clovers.

Naturally, Panda Bear does not seem to show a preference for the type of crunchies he eats. He just wants food, and lots of it.

I grabbed the flashy box to capture our eating experiences.  Here are our bowls at the start of the day, just after Mom and Dad left.
