Ahem, is this thing on? Oh hai! My name is Sunny. I used to be known as Mr. Wild Child when I first came to live here. I was scared and didn’t know if I could trust The Lady and The Man, so I hid in my Pink ManKitten Cave a lot.

Now I am Sunny, the Former Mr. Wild Child.

My Kitteh Mommy is Mama Rose.

I don’t know for sure who my Kitteh Daddy is – but we have seen a grey/brown striped kitteh hanging out in the yard, so we think that is him. (Mom’s Edit: We don’t know for sure if “Daddy” a boy, but I just have this feeling. Woody – one of Mama’s babies, and Sunny and Sky’s brother, looks SO MUCH like “Daddy”. We will be doing TNR – “Daddy” has a neuter appointment at the Cleveland APL in July.)

He has a very comfortable lap.

Sometimes we watch the talking picture box together. He likes it when I sit on his lap and purr.

Happy Daddy’s Day to all you Daddies out there!

As you know, we love our Daddy very much.  He feeds us, he scoops our poops, and he cleans up our horks.  Dad puts up with all of the fosters that Mom insists we take in.

Recently, Daddy has been very busy working for the U.S. Census.  He has been a crew leader and it was his job to sit in McDonald’s several hours a day.  We have no idea why the Census is so interested in McDonald’s.  Maybe it had something to do with revising their “billions and billions served” sign.  Sometimes he sat in two different McDonald’s in the same day.

So you know that us Furry Bambinos want to show Dad our appreciation for all he does.  I have been helping Dad with his paperwork as Crew Leader.

Caramel and I assist Dad with organizing his Census binders.

I have inspected the binders.

Padre did his part by horking up a hairball on the dining room carpet.  This morning.

Meerkat did some serious shedding in the fambly room.

And Cookie taught the fosters how to claw the furniture!

Speaking of fosters, we told you that Daisy, Bo, and Luke are now in their furrever homes.  Well, now we have Boo …

Notice how much Antoinette looks like Meerkat?  Antoinette showed up last Sunday, the day of the Tony Awards.  She knocked at our back door.  Seriously, she did.  She had to jump a 6 foot tall fence to do it, too!

So it has been busy here at Casa Furry Bambino!

Happy Daddy’s Day!

PapaDave came and took us home on Saturday evening.  When we got home, he gave each of us a bath. This is me during my bath:

PapaDave used sweet smelling baby shampoo!  This is Caramel getting her bath.  She does not look very happy, because all her floofy furs got wet and made her look much smaller.

Now we look and smell all pretty.

We asked PapaDave where MamaSue was.  He said that she was visiting her Mommy, Daddy, and brother.  They live far away. Last weekend on Sunday afternoon, MamaSue came home to Casa Furry Bambino.

When she got here, she opened the door to our apartment so that we could mingle with the Big Kitties again.  I like to mingle with the Big Kitties, but sometimes they can be grumpy.  Especially the Female Big Kitty named Meerkat.  Sometimes Caramel or I accidentally run into Meerkat.  Then she gets all growly and then she smacks us and hisses.  The handsome tuxedo kitty is a little nicer, but sometimes he hisses at us too.  He and I had a nice talk one night over drinks on the dining room table.

The Big Grey Kitty is the nicest of all of the Big Kitties, but he kind of keeps to himself.  I would like to get to know him better, but I get the idea that he is spoken for.

For Father’s Day, the Big Kitties, and Caramel and me, got some nice gifts for PapaDave.  Well, Mama Sue helped.  She went to the store for us, but she brought back just what we knew PapaDave would like.  Caramel is sitting on PapaDave’s lap as he opened his gifts.

That was a cool mousie that rolls on the floor.  Panda Bear studied the mousie and discovered that it was not a real mousie, but it was still fun.

We also gave PapaDave a feather on a stick toy.  See how much fun PapaDave had playing with Panda Bear and Meerkat with it?

All five of us kittehs are in this photo.  Left to right, Meerkat, PapaDave, me (Cookie), Caramel, Padre, and Panda Bear.  MamaSue is not in the picture because she is taking the picture.  But those are her shoes next to Panda Bear.

Lots of exciting things have been happening lately, so we will post more another time.  Bye for now!

We got him a remote controlled electronic mousie! This is a picture of the mousie charging up.

But then when Daddy tried it out on Father’s Day morning, the mousie just went in circles. Meerkat and I are studying the mousie closely to try to diagnose the problem.

Since Daddy had to leave to do his radio show (Sundays at noon), he didn’t have time to fix it then. But when Daddy got home, he pulled out his tools and set to work! As you can clearly see, Meerkat is helping.

This time, the mousie worked much gooder! Padre and I gave the mousie a good sniff.

Daddy had lots of fun controlling the mousie! Oh, and we liked playing with the mousie, too.

We love our Daddy very much!  He feeds us, plays with us, and scoops our litter boxes.  We are very grateful to have such a wonderful and loving Daddy!  This is a picture of our Daddy:

Padre, Meerkat, and I pooled our spending money and asked Mommy to help us get a really cool gift for Father’s Day!  We got him a remote controlled electronic mousie!

Daddy really liked our gift, but unfortunately, the electronic mousie only goes in circles.  How disappointing!  Daddy said that he would try to fix it this afternoon.  If that doesn’t work, Mommy said that they would exchange it for another one.

 We want to wish all the Daddies (and the single Mommies) a Happy Father’s Day!
