paws for a cause

mommy and daddy keep saying “paws for a cause” over and over! so i asked them what it means.

they explained that the rescue organization that helped us find mommy and daddy is called paws. it stands for “public animal welfare society”.

paws helps find good homes for kitties and woofies in our area. panda bear and i (and our 6 other litter mates) were fostered by a very nice lady who helped take good care of us while we were waiting for our furrever homes.

padre was fostered by diana and her husband chris at their house while he waited for his furrever home.

mommy explained that “paws for a cause” is today’s event is to help other kitties and woofies find their furrever homes. any funds raised go toward helping pay medical expenses for the kitties and woofies in the foster care program.

so i guess that means that mommy and daddy will be flirting with other kitties today. hmmm. i’m not sure how i feel about that. i mean, of course i want the other kitties to find great furrever homes, i just don’t want them to join us here in ours. i hope that doesn’t sound too selfish.

Mom here: I hope that David and I don’t wind up bringing home anyone else! My asthma doctor is not happy with me as it is… Oh well. That hasn’t stopped me before!
