{"id":336,"date":"2008-04-09T06:02:10","date_gmt":"2008-04-09T10:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/meerkat\/catnip-bananer"},"modified":"2008-04-09T06:54:39","modified_gmt":"2008-04-09T10:54:39","slug":"catnip-bananer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/meerkats-posts\/catnip-bananer","title":{"rendered":"catnip bananer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>last weekend mommy and daddy visited one of their favorite cat supply stores called &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/coventrycats.com\/\" title=\"Coventry Cats!\">coventry cats<\/a>&#8220;. it is in cleveland heights, ohio, on this hippie street called coventry.<\/p>\n<p>mommy had seen that other kitties in the blogosphere have the catnip bananer, and have raved about it. so when she saw that there were catnip bananers for sale at coventry cats, she got us one.  operative word being &#8220;one&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>mommy and daddy let padre sniff it first.  well, of course, panda bear and i had to investigate this new toy, too.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img src='http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/banana1.jpg' alt='Sniffing the magical banana' \/><\/p>\n<p>that&#8217;s when padre got, uh, shall we say, &#8220;overprotective&#8221; and downright possessive of the catnip bananer.  well, i wasn&#8217;t going to take that sitting down, nosirree.  so i let padre have it!<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img src='http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/bananaattack.jpg' alt='How dare you take MY banana!  It's mine!  Mine!  Mine!' \/><\/p>\n<p>when panda bear tried to take the bananer from padre, the two of them also got into a spat:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img src='http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/banana3.jpg' alt='Go ahead \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 grab the banana \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 make my day' \/><\/p>\n<p>who knew padre, of all cats, would be such a mean drunk?<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img src='http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/banana2.jpg' alt='It's mine!  No, it's mine!' \/><\/p>\n<p>eventually mommy and daddy took the bananer away from us and putted it way up high on a bookcase.  harrumph!<\/p>\n<p><em><u>Mom Here<\/u>: Have any of you kitties in the blogosphere had a similar reaction to the catnip in the &#8220;Nip Banana&#8221;?  Maybe we just found a really potent one.
