{"id":98,"date":"2007-12-13T21:30:00","date_gmt":"2007-12-14T02:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/panda-bears-posts\/update-on-the-furry-bambinos"},"modified":"2007-12-13T21:35:00","modified_gmt":"2007-12-14T02:35:00","slug":"update-on-the-furry-bambinos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/panda-bears-posts\/update-on-the-furry-bambinos","title":{"rendered":"Update on The Furry Bambinos!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry that we have not been blogging recently!\u00a0 Mom has been too busy to help us blog much lately.\u00a0 She has some really lame excuses, too:\u00a0 cleaning the house for visitors, having visitors, getting sick.\u00a0 Really lame excuses if you ask me.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, there have been lots of fun things going on around here lately!\u00a0 Padre and Meerkat want to tell some of the stories too, so we agreed to each tell some of the things that have been going on here.<\/p>\n<p>First, Mom got real busy rearranging things in the house.\u00a0 She called it &#8220;tidying up&#8221;.\u00a0 Well, it amounted to lots of moving things around, which of course, we had to sniff and snoopervise.\u00a0 It was kind of entertaining to watch her scurry around and go up and down the stairs a lot.<\/p>\n<p>Mom put newspapers into paper bags, which I climbed inside of to\u00a0sniff, and to hang out in.\u00a0 Mom kept adding more newspapers to the bags\u00a0until I could not fit inside anymore.\u00a0 And then Daddy carried the paper bags to the end of the driveway.\u00a0 Daddy refers to\u00a0the end of the driveway\u00a0as &#8220;the curb&#8221;.\u00a0 I have never personally gotten to sniff the curb, but it sounds interesting.\u00a0 Then some <strike>big-ass<\/strike> very large\u00a0truck drove by and took the paper bags away.<\/p>\n<p>Now, all was well and good with the tidying up, until Mom and Daddy took out the gigantic <strong><font color=\"#008000\">Rug-Sucking Monster,<\/font><\/strong> and they took turns dragging it all over the house!\u00a0 I was beginning to doubt my belief that this is a wonderful home, but I remembered that other kitties in the blogosphere also mentioned that their humans also utilize such a monster from time to time.<\/p>\n<p>All this tidying up was apparently due to an impending &#8220;visit&#8221; from Aunt Patty and her boyfriend Chris.\u00a0 Aunt Patty and Chris came to visit to help Mom celebrate becoming very old.\u00a0 Mom said that she\u00a0is now older than Jack Benny.\u00a0 I dunno what she&#8217;s talking about.<\/p>\n<p>Aunt Patty and Chris brought us a gift to celebrate Mom becoming very old.\u00a0 It is called a mobile.\u00a0 Aunt Patty said that the three kitties represent The Three Furry Bambinos!\u00a0 Here is a\u00a0photo of the mobile:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/mobile.jpg\" alt=\"The Kitty Mobile\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Daddy hung it from the ceiling fan thingy in the kitty feeding room.\u00a0 I like to circle it and study it and think of ways to get it down.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Here is a picture of Aunt Patty holding me!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/pandawithpatty.jpg\" alt=\"Patty and Panda Bear\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Aren&#8217;t we cute together?<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Aunt Patty saw some of the <strike>juicy<\/strike> friendly looking squirrels dining outside the back door (Mom and Dad feed the squirrels every morning).\u00a0 Aunt Patty thought that the squirrels were rather, well, uh, rotund.\u00a0 She said the squirrels looked as big as beavers!\u00a0 She called the squirrels the &#8220;beaver squirrels&#8221;.\u00a0 Here is a photo of one of the squirrels enjoying his or her breakfast:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/squirrel.jpg\" alt=\"Super-sized Squirrel\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Padre, Meerkat, and I enjoyed the visit from Aunt Patty and Chris very much!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry that we have not been blogging recently!\u00a0 Mom has been too busy to help us blog much lately.\u00a0 She has some really lame excuses, too:\u00a0 cleaning the house for visitors, having visitors, getting sick.\u00a0 Really lame excuses if you ask me.
