{"id":99,"date":"2007-12-14T19:45:10","date_gmt":"2007-12-15T00:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/padres-posts\/our-gizzy-quilts-arrived"},"modified":"2007-12-14T19:47:44","modified_gmt":"2007-12-15T00:47:44","slug":"our-gizzy-quilts-arrived","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/padres-posts\/our-gizzy-quilts-arrived","title":{"rendered":"Our Gizzy Quilts Arrived!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mommy ordered us Gizzy Quilts as a special Christmas gift.\u00a0 Mommy asked us what our color preferences were, and then she contacted Millie&#8217;s Mom, Lynne, about making the Gizzy Quilts.\u00a0 For those of you who don&#8217;t know, Millie has her own blog, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/darlingmillie.blogspot.com\/\" title=\"Darling Millie\">Darling Millie<\/a>, which we love to read every day.\u00a0 The quilts are named for Gizzy, Millie&#8217;s big brother, who went to The Rainbow Bridge earlier this year.\u00a0 You can see other Gizzy Quilts that Millie&#8217;s Mom made at the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/bizzyforgizzy.blogspot.com\/\" title=\"Bizzy for Gizzy Quilts\">Bizzy for Gizzy Quilts<\/a> web site.\u00a0 Millie&#8217;s Mom is furry talented indeed!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0When the quilts\u00a0arrived, of course\u00a0Panda Bear and I\u00a0had to sniff the box:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/moreboxsniffing.jpg\" alt=\"The boys sniff the quilt box\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Not to be outdone, Meerkat also gave the box a thorough sniffing:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/meerkatsniffsbox.jpg\" alt=\"Meerkat Sniffs the Quilt Box\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And then we had to sniff our quilts.\u00a0 Here I am on my &#8220;Warm Cheery Blue&#8221; Gizzy Quilt:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/padreonbluequilt.jpg\" alt=\"Padre on his blue quilt\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And this is Meerkat on her &#8220;Brown and Beige Kalahari&#8221; Gizzy Quilt (note how well her quilt matches her furs):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/meerkatonquilt.jpg\" alt=\"Meerkat on her quilt\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And this is Panda Bear checking out\u00a0his &#8220;Dark Brick Red&#8221; Gizzy Quilt.\u00a0\u00a0Note how well Panda Bear&#8217;s quilt matches the curtains.\u00a0 (You can see the curtains better in the picture of Meerkat on her quilt.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/pandaonredquilt.jpg\" alt=\"Panda Bear on his new quilt\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Plus, here is a photo of Panda Bear on my &#8220;Warm Cheery Blue&#8221; Gizzy Quilt.\u00a0 Apparently, Panda Bear is not particular about where he stretches out:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thefurrybambinos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/pandaonbluequilt.jpg\" alt=\"Panda on Padre\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Obviously, I have some &#8220;educating&#8221;
