Padre is a Poophead

That big grey cat just doesn’t know how to have fun, man.  All he wants to do is sit around, take naps, and look out the big tall windows at the squirrels and birds.  He needs to get a life.

There is so much fun stuff to do around here and “Pious Padre” just sits there staring out that window, flashing his white tuft of fur.

Here’s a list of just a few of the ways to have fun, that do not involve staring out the window:

1. Chase Meerkat around the house

2. Get chased by Meerkat

3. Put the bitey on Meerkat’s head

4. Sniff Padre’s butt

5. Lie down really close to Padre, just to tick him off

6. Chase my tail inside the Kalahari-Themed-Duplex-Cat-Cubes with the intention of tipping the whole thing over on its end

7. Chase my tail on the landing that goes down to our poop boxes in the basement

8. Play chase the bird on a string with Dad

9. Climb all over Dad’s head at 2:00 am

10. Help Dad when he needs to work in his office by climbing all over him

11. Play with the nip filled toys Dad and Mom brought home

… and much more!

“Pious Padre” just doesn’t know have to fun!  He takes his white clerical collar look just a little too far!

PS – like Padre we spends lots of time looking out da windows and keeping guard against squirrels, raccoons and da vishus deers.

  2. Hi, Panda Bear! I’s Victor. I unnerstand yur problems wif Padre. I lif wif Bonnie an she’s 8 years older than me, so she don’t wanna play wif me at all. She don’t want nofin to do wif me, an I’s been here 2 whole years! But it’s ok, I chase her anyway.

Hey, extra points if you wake the beans up in the middle of the nite, then SNEEZE on thems faces. That was me, last night.
    Purrs!

  3. Welcome!! I completely understand where Padre is coming from. When mom and dad brought Josie and Huggy Bear home, I didn’t want anything to do with them. But after awhile I really started to like them, and now we play and have a big time. And when they brought my little sister Maggie home, well all I can say is I haven’t a moment’s peace since then.

PS We have the same cubes but ours are zebra and we have four so we can have mazes. And we love them!

  4. Hi All! Nice to meet you. Wow you do keep busy Panda Bear. I’m an only kitty so I get to run around when I want and sleep when I want. I’m an indoor only kitty too, but mommy has lots of birdfeeders and squirrel feeders so I get to watch my own “reality TV for cats”. I like your idea of feeding squirrels inside…I’ll help you figure out how to get that to happen.

Please stop by and visit me sometime! I love meeting new friends.

  5. Hi there, Panda Bear, Padre & Meerkat, and a great big welcome to the cat blogosphere from all of us at Artsy Catsy! We’ve put you on our blogroll and we look forward to being friends. It sounds like you have lots of fun … we mostly work over here, thanks to our slavedriver CEO, Rocky.

  6. So mice to meet you three! The cat blogosphere will rock your kitty socks off! You will have so much fun here! I have a blur cube like your very pretty Kalihari one…but I never use it. I sleep in my frying pan during the summer. Last month I was very sick when my mum went away on vacation, I went on hunger strike. I am better now because I have some meds to take now. Come visit me sometime and I will fix you catmint tea and make you tuns puffs.
    Welcome again from Miss Peach
