Well, by now, if you have been following the past few posts, you know that Aunt Patty and Uncle Chris got married last Friday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvanicat. Their wild party wedding reception was held in a fancy ballroom in a hotel near the church. Mom told me I couldn’t go to the wedding or wild party wedding reception because they don’t allow cats. So she brought home some pictures, and told us lots of stories.

This is a picture of Aunt Patty and Uncle Chris’s wedding cake:

The oversized cupcake as the top layer is because Aunt Patty LOVES cupcakes!

The “M” and the tiger on the next layer from the top are for the University of Missouri. Uncle Chris will start work there soon, and Aunt Patty will go back to school there. The tiger is the university’s mascot.

The Sticky Little People (and they really are Sticky and Little People) represent the children where Aunt Patty used to work. Aunt Patty was the director of the children’s art studio at the Carnegie Museum of Art. She recently quit her job because she and Uncle Chris are moving to Missouri.

The cats represent our feline cousins: Muse (tuxedo girl), Rainbow (calico girl), Cinnamon (orange tabby male), and Toast (orange and white girl). The woofie on the bottom layer is our new woofie cousin, Bruiser. He is a beagle / basset hound mix, from a Pittsburgh rescue organization where Uncle Chris and Aunt Patty volunteer. Rainbow, Muse, and Bruiser live with Aunt Patty, and Cinnamon and Toast live with Uncle Chris.

The bicycle is because Uncle Chris likes to bicycle.

This is a picture of Aunt Patty and Uncle Chris cutting the wedding cake:

Grampa (Mom’s Dad) gave the blessing at the start of the wild party wedding reception:

Aunt Patty is holding her “gong” which makes sounds like a drum. She used it to get everyone’s attention. Aunt Patty was thanking everyone who came to their wedding and wild party reception. She was also telling all the Sticky Little People that there was an arts activity table where they could have fun, instead of being bored listening to grown-ups talking about boring stupid stuff:

Uncle Chris has two younger brothers, Steve (left) and Peter (right). Peter was called the “Best Man”. The lady is Andrea, Steve’s wife. They are having fun blowing bubbles.

Dad’s parents were also invited to Aunt Patty’s wedding. This is a picture of Mommy and Daddy posing with our other Gramma and Grampa:

Check out all the loot Aunt Patty and Uncle Chris got! I wonder if they got any catnip? Mom says I have to mention that the “card box” was made by Mom, Dad, and Gramma (Mom’s Mom). It’s the thing that looks like a cake. Whatever.

Mom said that she had fun dancing to music that she and Aunt Patty used to go out dancing to: Yaz, Erasure, Nitzer Ebb, Prince. And Mom said that a few people at the wild party reception had too many niptinis and acted silly.

Next time we will tell you all about the fun we had with Aunt Deb, who visited us and took care of us Furry Bambinos while Mom and Dad were at Aunt Patty and Uncle Chris’s wedding!

Panda Bear reporting …

Something happened to our blog!  Mommy noticed it this morning and was a little worried.

Daddy is our tech dude, so he took a look at it closer and found that something was all broke.  So Daddy worked his magic … and really @$&#ed it up good!

Now all our pictures are gone and we are sad.  I’m going to bite Daddy when he gets home because he did something he shouldn’t have —  I know it!  I know it!  I know it!

He promises to get all our pictures back in place as soon as he can.  He better!  We will all gang up on Daddy tonight and give him the bitey!

Daddy told me he has to “back up” more often so this doesn’t happen in the future.  Why does Daddy need to back up?  Why doesn’t he just go forward?  Beans are weird.

Gotta sharpen my teeth for the bitey party tonight!

Panda Bear out.

For Father’s Day we three Bambinos pooled our spending money and bought Daddy a really great gift.

We got him a remote controlled electronic mousie! This is a picture of the mousie charging up.

Charging up the mousie

But then when Daddy tried it out on Father’s Day morning, the mousie just went in circles. Meerkat and I are studying the mousie closely to try to diagnose the problem.

Mousie is stuck

Since Daddy had to leave to do his radio show (Sundays at noon), he didn’t have time to fix it then. But when Daddy got home, he pulled out his tools and set to work! As you can clearly see, Meerkat is helping.

Daddy adjusts the mousie to work gooder

This time, the mousie worked much gooder! Padre and I gave the mousie a good sniff.

Padre and Panda Bear take interest

Daddy had lots of fun controlling the mousie! Oh, and we liked playing with the mousie, too.

Hi Efurryone!  We want to wish all of you a very Happy Father’s Day!

We love our Daddy very much!  He feeds us, plays with us, and scoops our litter boxes.  We are very grateful to have such a wonderful and loving Daddy!  This is a picture of our Daddy:

Padre, Meerkat, and I pooled our spending money and asked Mommy to help us get a really cool gift for Father’s Day!  We got him a remote controlled electronic mousie!

Daddy really liked our gift, but unfortunately, the electronic mousie only goes in circles.  How disappointing!  Daddy said that he would try to fix it this afternoon.  If that doesn’t work, Mommy said that they would exchange it for another one.

We want to wish all the Daddies (and the single Mommies) a Happy Father’s Day!

I feel sorry for Meerkat and Padre!

As you regular readers know, I only has one eye.  I had an infection as a young kitty and they removed my right eye.  It’s okay, though.  It was just an extra one as far as I can tell.

Go ahead … try and get closer!

I can jump to high places.  I can catch and deadify mousies in the dark.

Panda Bear pins down the mouse!

I can get into “things I’m not supposed to”.

I can play Thundering Herd of Elephants with Meerkat and Padre.

Up the down staircase

I can chase and catch birdies on a string.

I can be a pirate!  I’m fast and agile and nothing stops me from exploring!

And I can catch moths with my paws!

Poor Meerkat and Padre need two eyes to do all that!  How untalented of them.  Guess that’s why I’m so special!

Gramma sent me a really great cartoon recently.  It’s from a comix called “Mutts”.  Maybe you have it in your newspaper.  If not, you can go to their website and see the comix.  Daddy says something about “copy rite infrringment” if we post it here.  So, go read the Mutt’s cartoon

Hooray for one-eyed kitties like me!  We’re super great and don’t have any extra parts!

We were tagged by Bear and Shadow, and are hard at work on our “7 Useful Things” Meme. We will post it this weekend!

Thanks to efurryone who gave us birthday wishes yesterday! It was great that so many of you made it to the party! And we got to meet some new kitties, too!

Thanks to efurryone who partied with us, for the kind birthday wishes, and:

Queen Snickers and Empress for bringing niptinis and crab puffs;
Junior for bringing some primo nip;
The Artsy Catsy staff who brought All-Natural Temptations.

Before the party started, Mom noticed how long our nails were. Rats. So we all got a pedicure! Hoomph! And on our birthday, too!

Then, Daddy opened the windows so we could sniff the fresh air. Do not worry about Padre’s head. He still has it. Padre just has his head tilted in ecstasy from sniffing all the outside smells.

We got a whole bunch of toy mousies:

I got a nifty new harness that is a “walk in” type. I gave it a good sniff.

my new harness

It is not comfortable to sit in, but it is easier to walk around in than the other harness that Mom got me. In this picture, you can see the goatee that I am growing, now that I am a ManCat.

We got a way cool magic wand thingy! It’s got red and shiny stuff that is fun to bat around. Even Padre had fun with it!

Yesterday afternoon, Mommy put my Red Evil Collar Monster on me. The one with the leash attached. Mommy picked me up and carried me to the Grey Room That Moves! She opened the door, and carried me inside. Daddy got in another door. Mommy handed me to Daddy, where I sat in his lap.

At last, I was going on a Big Adventure!

Goin

Well, Daddy and Mommy came along too. They sat up front. I sat in the back where I could explore.

Mmmmm …. the floor isn

We traveled for a very long time. I looked out the back windows of the room that moves.

Quit stopping and starting! It

Sometimes I sat on Daddy’s lap, but I liked to sit in the back window the best.

We finally got to our destination:

Time to Party!

We were going to a party! Good thing I was dressed in my tuxedo and nail caps for the occasion! “Coventry Cats” was celebratifying their 20 year birthday! Wow, that’s a lot older than me. Meerkat and I aren’t even 1 year old yet!

Mommy helped me see up high on the shelfs!

There was cake…

Big cake for all the

… and food …

Lots of stinky goodness to choose from! Fancy brands here!

… and a wall of toys!

Hmmmmm … which toy should I pick?

There were even woofies in the store! What were they doing in a place called Coventry Cats? I thought that the woofies were a bit rude. I had to hiss at one to tell him to stay out of my personal space!

I even got to meet a woofie! I didn

Naturally, everyone I met thought I was the best looking cat they had ever met! I got lots of scritches and pats on the head. The owner lady of the store was very nice to me. Daddy wasn’t sure if I was going to be allowed in the store. Well, duh! It’s a store specifically for cats!

The nice lady who owns Coventry Cats gave me scritches!

I sniffed the whole place over from head to tail. There were lots of interesting places to explore.

Lots of great things to sniff!

After the party, we got back into the Grey Room That Moves and headed back home.

Time to go home!

This time, it was raining, so I sang in the rain!

"La La La La La … I am the greatest cat of all

I really liked to sit in the back window.

This is comfy!

When we got back home, I ran into the kitchen to get a bite to eat! Adventures sure can make a cat hungry!
